Slideshares of the week: mobile

The SXSW posts will no doubt continue to pour in in bits and pieces, but it's time to go back to the curated weekly data. This week, we'll be looking at mobile. Made by Many recently obtained a presence in Sweden to focus specifically on mobile, so it's a good time to focus on the topic.

1. Boondoggle, an Amsterdam and Leuven-based agency, have a nice presentation about growing mobile usage amongst young people. That in itself is not very surprising, but by relating it to social currency and going over the real reasons to get into mobile (don't do it just because it's cool, don't do it just because your competitor is, and don't just do a mobile version of your website), the presentation makes for good reading.

2. Joerg Jelden, a freelance trends consultant, covers mobile and emerging channels for NEXT '11, the Berlin-based conference in May that will focus on data. What are those trends? Smartware, transactionism, dumbphonia and intertainment. Read on to find out more.

3. Omar Green, the director of strategic mobile initiatives at Intuit, writes about designing a seamless web to mobile experience: sticking with first principles, keeping with context.
