Here's something new to do on the commute to work on Monday mornings. Spend the journey unsubscribing from all those crappy group discount and social shopping emails that clog up your email inbox. This morning I said goodbye to GiltMan, Groupon,WAYN, TimeOutLondon, TimeOutDeals and RueLala. It's the equivalent of giving yourself a coffee enema - I feel great!

I joined all of these services to see how they worked and to try them out. No, seriously... honest

It's been spesh.

There've been some great moments along the way. Vajazzle Day will stay with me forever, and I still want to see what it's like to get those little fish to suck my toes. But I can't deal with the volume of permission-based landfill I've got fudging up my life and inbox, so sorry but I'm out.

Monday seems like a good day for purging.
