This week, we look at 3 recent presentations on lean startups and customer development.
To start off, Janice Fraser, entrepreneur and founder/CEO at Luxr, a residency programme for lean startups in San Francisco, covers the basics and then goes on to explain how lean UX can change the way we do business. Some good sketches and quotes.
Next, Business 901, a firm 'specializing in bringing the continuous improvement process to the sales and marketing arena', talks about lean from a social media point of view (tongue-in-cheek) and then goes on to talk about the Plan-Do-Act-Check philosophy and lean as a knowledge creation model. Some good references.
And last but not least, Jeff Gothelf, Director of UX at theladders.com in New York, a lean advocate and user experience designer, talks about lean and 'getting out of the deliverables business' at the recently-concluded Agile 2011 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
